Touro College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267) 284-5000. The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The college’s professional schools have also received accreditation from the appropriate specialized accrediting agencies.
Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) requires institutions, including Touro College to meet standards that are outlined in its publication Characteristics Of Excellence.
Institutions are reaccredited every 10 years. Reaccreditation requires preparation and submission of self-study, followed by a team visit. Touro College is currently in the midst of preparing self-study and the Middle States Team visit to the campuses and branch campuses of Touro College is scheduled for late Spring 2015.
